How I start my Day.

A Soft Morning Routine That Sets the Tone for the Day

Mornings are my favorite time to create a little space before life speeds up. I keep them calm, simple, and grounded in rituals that help me feel good from the inside out.

The first thing I do is drink a tall glass of water, sometimes with a squeeze of lemon. It’s the quickest way to wake up my body and clear that sleepy feeling. Coffee or matcha comes later — I’ve found I feel better when I hydrate first.

While having my coffee, I sit with a book. Just a few pages, nothing rushed. It’s less about reading a lot and more about starting the day without a screen in my hand. No emails or notifications - just quiet moments giving my mind space to breath and my thoughts to settle.

Then I head to the bathroom for skincare. A gentle cleanse to refresh my skin, followed by a hydrating serum to plump and smooth, i usually use a Vitamin C serum or Hyaluronic Acid, then I add my eyecream.A lightweight moisturizer seals it in, and sunscreen is always the last and most important step. On days I want a little extra polish, I’ll add a soft tint to my cheeks and lips, smooth my brows, and finish with a touch of mascara.

Once I’m ready, I head out for a short walk. No phone calls, no rushing — just fresh air, quiet streets, and a podcast that leaves me feeling inspired, Mel Robbins is my latest obsession. It’s amazing how even ten minutes outside can reset your mind.

Some mornings I finish with Pilates or a gym session; other times, I keep it light and head straight to breakfast. My favorite is overnight oats with chia seeds, linseed, blueberries and honey, or avocado toast with a sprinkle of sea salt and olive oil. It’s quick, nourishing, and gives me steady energy until lunch.

It’s not a complicated routine, but these small steps — hydration, quiet time, skincare, movement, and a balanced breakfast — create a sense of clarity that stays through the day.
